Abeego Small Package
Wash your Abeego in COLD water.
Simply wipe clean with a soft cloth or rinse under cold water with biodegradable, alcohol-free soap (like Ecover, Dr Bronners and Seventh Generation) if needed. Air or towel dry and never wring.
Stains and creases build character.
Abeego is all natural so deeply pigmented foods may add to its personality. Minimize staining by rinsing Abeego in cold water shortly after food has been removed. Limit relations with oily or greasy foods to a quick fling.
Let’s talk heat.
Beeswax melts. Protect your Abeego from the dishwasher, microwave and warm dishwater. Allow food to cool before covering or wrapping. Like your favorite ice cream, keep away from all sources of heat and open flame.
Cutting your Abeego.
Abeego has you covered with a variety of sizes so you never need to cut it to fit. Keeping it at its full size will ensure it gets used over and over. If you ever noticed some frays, as Abeego is fabric, trim them with a sharp blade or scissors.
Abeego is self-adhesive.
Abeego is self adhesive, not sticky or clingy. That means no matter what you wrap, it sticks to itself, not the dish or food. Malleable at room temperature, form Abeego around any shape—it’ll hold the shape and protect the food inside.
For the love of cheese.
Remove cheese from the packaging it came in and wrap it in an appropriately sized Abeego.
Form Abeego around the cut side of your avocado, cucumbers, tomatoes, melons, onions and pretty much any fruit or vegetable you need to keep. Pineapple has been known to eat Abeego, it is best stored in dish topped with a wrap.
Rise dough, rise.
The material is insulating and breathable so it is a perfect cover for rising bread dough. It is also suitable for covering fermenting foods such as yogurt, kefir and buttermilk.
We like it saucy too.
The coating is fluid resistant, so moisture will not leak through the actual fabric. Sauce may add a bit of color to the patina.
A bit about meat.
Cold cuts and cooked meat on your sandwiches are friends of Abeego. Place leftover meat and raw meat in a dish, cover and store in the refrigerator. We suggest avoiding direct contact with raw meat.
Abeego is happy to help out around the freezer for the short-term jobs. A month is the limit. It leaves long-term freezing up to the other guys.
Storing your storage.
Roll or fold Abeego and keep in with your other food packaging or in your linen drawer. Keep between cutting boards to store wraps.
Handy Bonus! Free Jar Opener.
Grab a wrap, put it over the lid of the jar, and hand it to the person closest to you to open. Why work harder when you can work smarter?
